Join Garden Club Makers for a comprehensive workshop on glaze-making, designed for makers who are looking to take the next step and explore the world of glaze creation. We will provide guidance on how and where to begin, along with strategies for troubleshooting common challenges. This one-day workshop covers in-depth technical material, shares a collection of valuable resources that we have gathered over the years, and includes a hands-on portion for practical learning.

Firing atmosphere, temperature and cycle
Constituents of a glaze
Glaze formulas and calculations
Transforming recipes
Glaze testing and hands-on session
Post-workshop online consultation (optional)
Undertake a glaze-crafting project of your choice, including iterative tests and three online consultations with GCM for guidance on what recipe to start with and next steps between each test result.
*For members of GCM, you may test at the studio, for others, you should make sure that you have testing facilities available to you.
